UPDATE on APEX Connect accounts:
If you created your APEX Connect account online:
Please try to enter your APEX Connect credentials in the "create account" option. Doing this should log you in despite this being the "create account" option.
If you created your APEX Connect account through another Avalanche game:
Go to your game settings, select the APEX setting, and "unlink" your account (this will unlink your Hunt Club account, which is technically a limited APEX Connect account). It will then take 24 hours for your account to be deleted from the database. After which, the next time you start the game you will have the login option available. You should be able to log in with your APEX Connect account credentials now!
Confirming your APEX Connect account:
Some e-mail providers are blocking the verification e-mail for APEX Connect accounts. Until we resolve this issue with our E-mail handler, it will not be possible to verify your account unless you use another e-mail provider such as G-mail. However, not verifying your account will not prevent you from logging in OR claiming any rewards.
With all due respect but NOTHING of this works.
I can't log in with my credentials. I can't reset my password. I either don't or only with a huge delay get the proper emails for the correspondent processes. And even when creating a new account and wasting another, different email address on their userdata collecting scheme it still doesn't work and I get popups after popups telling me I got the wrong email/password/username/whatever.........
I have no problem with sharing selected data via a companies service. But when this service doesn't work and on top of that for more than 12 days after its introduction it gets more and more ridiculous.
Sure, unforeseen problems can spring up and usually that wouldn't be a biggy for me to gripe about. But this isn't the first company to introduce such a non-working service into their games and I get the feeling the gaming industry desperately wants to turn iteslf into the butt of every joke...
Instead of patching something in noone asked for, actually listen to what the people ask for and when as example releasing new maps, add proper missions to them like the first few maps had.
"If your question was not answered, or you need help with your Avalanche Apex Account, you’re always welcome to contact our support team."
Thx for reminding me about that and yes, I will contact them.
But let me re-iterate that I find it ridiculous that the common ground-solution nowadays seems to be that I as the lone individual who didn't have a hand in what other people are cooking up, has to run up to them and remind them to fix their mess instead of them doing things properly in the first place. If other people can hold me up to "normal" (insanely high) standards all the time especially in my line of work, I sure as hell won't be hindered to hold them up to atleast some degree of effort in their work....
Feedback from customers is one thing, properly testing stuff beforehand another.
Sorry for ranting, but life is unfun right now and I don't need another however small thing pissing on my boots at this moment in time.
Gotcha, don't worry! I know that you are not at fault and only a messenger with a good looking head ;)
