Slow Audio Glitch

Just re-installed this game but it is unplayable. It opens fine, I've tried layton lakes and hirshfelden. I've closed and restarted the game, I've changed headphones nothing works. The first 5 seconds audio is normal, then it gets degraded and laggy. Everything sounds slow and corrupted. All the audio is messed up, NPCs, animals, background sounds, music. It makes it impossible to play and I would LOVE to know how to fix this.

Look at your windows sound settings and play around with them. Win update made my game crash at startup and had to manually go and re organize my sound again.
