If you're referring to Fishing planet then it was their problem and not mine and I have Virgin Media fibre at 300meg so I doubt it's my problem or my ISP, but then judging by your previous posts, you always seem to blame everyone's internet or ISP's rather than think it could be a game problem because by doing a simple google search about this, players have been having this problem since the game was released so It can't be everyone's ISP's are rubbish or broken it must be game related. Me and my friend are playing Classic now and have no problems with disconnects what so ever plus the 1000's of games I've played over the years. Fishing planets servers were playing up when I had connections issues and were soon fixed but Call of the wild, I always have connection issues. Like I said Elite Dangerous no problem with connection(Frontier game) Classic no problem(Frontier game) Planet coaster no problems(Frontier game) COTW problems so you tell me pal, maybe they just have poor servers for this game because they aren't fleecing players for the pay to win franchise in classic.
That wasn't help, that was it ain't our fault, it's yours and if you ain't got anything constructive to help then pipe down will you please
Then why bother sticking your nose in and when I wrote (That wasn't help, that was it ain't our fault, it's yours) the it's yours meant it was my fault and nothing to do with the game because game mod/devs always seem to blame the players PC first before anything else.
According to your post about Fishing Planet, adjusting the "lower ping rate" setting was the fix. That to me sounds like you must have had a high ping and therefore were getting kicked. Most likely what is happening here also.
It doesn't matter if you have 300 down or 1000, if it's not stable it could cause issues.
" players have been having this problem since the game was released so It can't be everyone's ISP's are rubbish or broken it must be game related."
A few players have reported connection issues yes. The majority though have no issues with their connection. You would think if it were the game everyone would have this issue and the forums would be full of connection issue complaints. It's not....
"Classic no problem(Frontier game)"
Classic is developed by Expansive Worlds. The same developers of CoTW.
"maybe they just have poor servers for this game because they aren't fleecing players for the pay to win franchise in classic."
What server? This game is Peer to Peer.
So..... all signs point to an issue with your connection (or your friends) but if you refuse to even contact your ISP and let them know you're having connection issues, just to do all you can do from your side, I don't know what else to say.
Good luck I guess?
I never had any ping issue with fishing planet so not sure what your on about, it may have been a general fix but didn't fix my issue it was their servers after an update, the ping was something to do within the Steam client but mine is always set to 250. Why is it that i play multiplayer games on a daily bases some server and some peer 2 peer and never have disconnect problems but i play COTW and I do. I play with the same friends across all games and never ever have connection problems. I don't need to call my ISP because I know my connection is solid, otherwise when me and my friends are chatting in Discord, surely I would get disconnected from that if my connection was dropping?. Then if it isn't COTW and you say it's a peer 2 peer connection, then is must be something to do with steam? Me and my friends all have the same ISP and funny enough the same internet security(Kaspersky). and we have all tried connecting to one another within this game which does happen and we can see each other but after 2-10 mins we will all start to get kicked with their characters all frozen in place. Look I'm not trying to be difficult here, I'm just really frustrated that this game gives us so much grief and it annoys me that in the end I will have to cut my losses and just drop the game altogether.
Edit: Also I have spoken with a Kaspersky tech and he claims everything is set for us to be-able to connect to one another and play games peer 2 peer because I thought it was Kaspersky blocking the connections. Could it be Malwarebytes?
Now THAT might be useful information.
Kaspersky themselves have a guide on properly setting the program up for Steam users.
Maybe following this guide is worth a try?
https://me-en.kaspersky.com/blog/kis-settings-for-steam/5888/
Also, if you Google Kaspersky connection issues you can find LOTS of posts from other gamers using the same software and having the same connection issues. Maybe one of those posts can point you in the right direction also?

I understand your frustration, I really do. I'm just trying to help the best I can. I'm just a moderator though and not a developer so the best I can do is use the knowledge I've gained over the years and Google search for others having the same issue.
Thank you for those links and appreciate your help. I will look through them now, again thanks
