SOLVED: Issue with Multiplayer

I know about the pinned thread but it does not offer a solution to the problem. Right now it is impossible to join a MP game of a friend. One of us starts a MP game.When joining the game via Steam one can only continue his/her own previous game or go to the MP server list where - bc lack of search function - you can`t find your fiends. Is there a workaround or solution i don't know of?

Did you change the distance you are searching? It always starts out more local but you can change distance to worldwide which should bring up your friends game. The list is also scrollable even though no scroll bar shows until scrolling once you get the list to world wide.

And do agree though on the search. I recommended the other day there either be a favorites option or that friends always show up first or something like that!

It sounds like either your firewall or your friends is blocking the connection.

Solution: Making the game visible to public instead private or friends fixed the issue.

That is not a fix, we can't get the private server to work. It has worket but something is changed. And it's not on our side "PicSoul"

Tonight I got it. My friend started a server, I started the game and Shift/Tab to my friend list and joined his "friend" server.

Tried it today and it worked. So you have to start your game before you can join your friends game. That seems to be the difference to how it used to be :)
