Tracks not showing up on screen?
Sometimes this happens and sometimes not. It's sporatic. It just doesn't make sense. Anyway, it's quite hard to track an animal if you don't see it's tracks. Please fix this ASAP since the game is unplayable without it.

Anyone else having this issue? If so, please post your experiences here.:steamfacepalm:

Yes there are a lot of people having that problem myself included. I thought it might be due to too many tracks in the area but not sure. I've lost 3 deer to it but if I would have shot better and droped them problem solved, but it should not happen.

On the other hand I shot a moose with a bow but it moved at the last minute and I winged him. My frame rate is usually 60-70 fps but after I tracked that dam moose all over creation at 50 % health I had to call it quits because I had so many tracks logged on the huntermate it slowed down my fps to 25, but if I put it away back to 60+fps take it out it would drop again, I think I tracked that dam moose 45+ min, it was night so it was difficult to spot him. After all that I really thought the tracks would stop showing but no they didn't.

this can happen during daytime in game to ...... frustrating as hell that u shoot something at distance and have pre spotted it with binoculars and when u get to the spot no tracks and you can see in the high grass what direction the animal run , but when the high grass ends .....

I can confirm too many tracks on a small area broke the system, you just have to restart the game.

It happend to me 2-3 times when i tried to follow a group of + or - 8 deers.

Same for me

I removed my 8-16x50 scope and the tracks are working better now

Okay I thought it was in daytime too, but didn't wanna complain and be wrong. So thanks for everyone's verification.

I am really surprised at the level of brokenness this game is in. The Hunter Classic was very polished and ran extremely well. So how can this, a newer game; run so poorly? If anything it should be unprecidented. The only thing that is, is just how bad this game truly is.

As beautiful as it is, it's broken as ffkk.

Just turn on your headlamp and the tracks will show up day or night.
2021, still the same problem, you need the light after 7pm, which doesn't make sence. guess the game dev's thought, "you suppose to be in bed " hence why you can rest till when every you want to wake up.

I honestly haven't fired this game up since not long after making this post. There's too much I want that it doesn't have. Lost interest in it after about 3 months of playing it.

2023. Happening to me too. Also, when an animal calls when you are nearby, it does not show the soundwaves, so you have no idea of what direction they are coming from. Seems to be since i did this new update. This happens during daytime hunting. I've unistalled and reinstalled the game with no luck.. Any ideas here?

Guys just press 'C' or check settings, interface, and turn tracks back on.
