Possible fix on the crash issue, Working for others.
I've been digging into the crashes, and i've fixed my problem, but need people to look at there eventviewer for clsid and appid codes to confirm if im correct.
I am using Win 10 64bit.

CLsid 8d8f4f83-3594-4f07-8369-fc3c3cae4919

Appid f73671a9-012c-4725-9d2f-2a4d32d65169

Warning will be about local activation persmissions.

For me the problem is dcom permissions causing crashes, caused by installation problems, most likely from coding error in devs side or installer problem.

This has also cured problem for 2 other friends with same problem.

Another set of clsid + appid codes were showing but not sure if was the hunter specific.

clsid d63b10c5-bb46-4990-a94fe40b9d520160

appid 9ca88ee3-acb7-47c8-ab702511c276

So i looked in the event history.

Exactly the same:

{8D8F4F83-3594-4F07-8369-FC3C3CAE4919}
und der APPID
{F72671A9-012C-4725-9D2F-2A4D32D65169}

alternating with

{D63B10C5-BB46-4990-A94F-E40B9D520160}
und der APPID
{9CA88EE3-ACB7-47C8-AFC4-AB702511C276}

So, now you can describe what u and your friend have made to fix chrashes :-)

seems to be good guide to doing permission changes regarding error codes.
Has pictures and is well explained.
Not hard to do, just follow guide, just looking for the event id's you listed.
do this for both sets of errors, as this confirms that the second set of event errors are also relating to the hunter crashes.
Changing owner from trusted installer, to administrator and ticking box underneath to apply to all sub folders and directories, as well as making sure admin has full control rights.

To be updated.

When this really was the problem that we have fixed, - i hope we will not have troubles when the Patch from EW comes out :-) What do you think?

Whe it works also for me we can put your solution on the front of all underforums.
People will be happy :-)

Thanks for now. I hope the non-crash phase holds on.

Tell you more in 3 hours :-)

CLS ID {8D8F4F83-3594-4F07-8369-FC3C3CAE4919} has def parameter name CDP Activity Store. I Can't find it in Component Services...

Goto regedit, then navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\8d8f4f83-3594-4f07-8369-fc3c3cae4919.

Right click and follow guide to enable permissions.
Don't worry about step 18 in guide, not really needed
Steps 1-17 are important ones.
As long as when you edited the registry you ticked enable changes to all sub folders and user, it will apply all related folders, including runtimebroker dcom settings.

Edit - Between 3 of us playing together, only had one crash on friends pc in over 5 hours of play, a record for us.
I think there are multiple issues causing crashes, global illumination was also a settings that caused crashes also.

I already found that associated APP ID in the form of {F72671A9-012C-4725-9D2F-2A4D32D65169} is present in Component Services. But if you say it's not necessary, I will live it as it is. I made all registry steps, will test the game this weekend.

The guide is for slightly different issue, i only put guide up to help show how to safely edit the pc's registry, don't want to be blamed for wrecked pc's. :)

I didnt find anything permission based in my event viewer, did find 2 ids. Went through the tutorial and still crashes.
bwf1975 Feb 25, 2017 @ 2:24pm
If you have the same event error id's that i listed, then permissions will help.
Sounds like you have a different problem, whats your event error id's, i will see if i can help.

I get a Warning display error ID 4101 and a Error Application Hang event of 1002 (task category 101)
