GTX 1070 isn't good enough for this game?

The game crashes when I tryto go 1080, but 720 makes it unplayable it looks so bad... WTF?! The first game was ♥♥♥♥ because the running speed was that of a dying slug, and it makes sense that the sequal would be just as bad for and even dumber reason. This is 2017, games should not be having these basic problems anymore, this game is $30, it's rediculous.

Is the game using your discrete graphics card or integrated graphics if you have a CPU that supports it?

Full PC specs may help.

The computer is using the 1070, just now it went to a window while I was hunting a deer, I tried to change the settings and the game crashed... One hell of a time for $30.

Everything is fine with my PC, I can play any other AAA game I have, but for some reason this one is being a jerk, I love hunting, but I might have to refund and buy it when all the problems people are talking about get fixed.

I run on a 970 in 1440p. Game is buggy AF with the new line of Nvidia cards. I know multiple 1060 users who can't get above 40 fps. I agree though... the game was released in a disgusting state and I haven't an ounce of sympathy for EW recieving criticism for it.

Yeh that irritates me too. It's weird, the game seems to run better on 960s,970s,980s than it goes on the 10 series cards. It seems to be a hardware optimisation kind of issue. The game actually runs like a dream on the right card, considering how insane the game* looks on ultra. Your card certainly has enough horsepower, but I'm sure the issue is on the end of the developer.

If you give it a couple of months, it'll probably get picked up on and fixed. EW are painfully slow at tackling bugs though, so don't hold your breath ^^

hey man im using the GTX 1060 and i even get lag sometimes playing on complete minimum graphics.
sucks to spend so much on a system for it to run something worse than my 15 yr old laptop would.

this is not my issue but have you checked your temps? a hot pc can cause a slow game :P


atm i currently cannot even launch the game unless i have it plugged into my tv via hdmi :P lots of issues here that need to be ironed out it seems.

I'm using a 1070 and it runs smooth on Ultra but i have some terrible graphical problems that I posted in another thread but it has not had a reply to it from anyone at EW so I don't even know if they are looking into it or not.
