Buff the new .50 cal Curman Inline
I'm a big fan the Hudzik muzzle-loader, and I was happy to see EW release a more modern option. As it stands though, there's no reason to use the Curman over the Hudzik:
- The Hudzik has an effective range of 200m with the Minié ball, with only a slight elevation adjustment required for aiming (i.e. it's quite easy to get perfect shots at 200m).
- At 150m the Galileo scope is perfectly zeroed in.
- The Minié ball ammo has a great penetration to expansion coefficient, 40 and 30, respectively, making it a particularly devastating projectile.
- The round ball adds versatility, and while the effective range is only 100m, it remains a solid choice due to its 30 value for both penetration and expansion.

On the other hand:
- The Curman is only ''effective'' at 100m with both its ammo choices. While it CAN be shot effectively at 150 and 200m, it requires more adjustment from the shooter.
- It doesn't have the versatility to cover class 3 animals that the Hudzik has with its round ball ammo.
- The Curman polymer tip sabot is only slightly better for penetration than the Hudzik Minié by a value of 2 (42 for the Curman, 40 for the Hudzik) while the Minié still has better expansion.

The only possible advantages I see the Curman having over the Hudzik is with the hollow-point sabot, that has a very good expansion value of 60. With perfect shots, it probably drops things dead a bit quicker than both the Hudzik ammo choices, but this is actually hard to quantify objectively through any tests. A lung shot with the hollow-point on a plains bison did drop him almost on the spot, but I'd have to test with the Hudziq Minié to see if it performs differently. It's possible to use a modern scope with the Curman, but I don't believe this really results in any sort of advantage. Finally, I believe reload times are pretty much the same.

In conclusion, I think the Curman should benefit from some sort of buff. I'm no expert, but I assume modern black powder composition, and rifle/ammo engineering methods should lead to the Curman being 'better' than the Hnudzik, not worse in almost every way. Perhaps the Curman ammo could be buffed to include Class 9 animals. That would give that rifle some life, and give a reason for players to run around with BOTH weapons. Or at least bring all the relevant values more in line with the Hudzik, and leave players with an aesthetic choice.
