I'll buy that for a dollar.
absolutely nothing! I mean c'mon? You could add "knocking" on trees or calls to invite them in maybe? I think it would be really an exciting addition to the game. Who else thinks so please leave a comment!
Normally I just want the game to be reality-based (so no dinos, robots, flying ibexes, unicorns, etc.), but I have to admit, I honestly would like a Bigfoot in the game. IMO, there should be ONE Bigfoot. The map it appears on would be (say) Layton, Yukon, Medved, or any other future North American map, BUT they don't tell us, and it changes (or has the potential to change), with every up date -- and it might be completely different on console.
Most importantly, they do not tell us that there is, in fact, a Bigfoot added to the game -- not a single word. Ever. We'd only know when some player got it on video or took a screen shot. Even then, it would be denied as a fake, a Photoshop job. If that ever happened, the devs should still deny any knowledge of adding it. Some would believe, others would still doubt.
Essentially, make it a massive Easter Egg. That would be a lot of fun for the community. If it was just added like any other animal, however, with lots of fanfare from EW, with an official Twitch stream, Tweets, etc., then no. That would be boring.
On a related note, I kind of wish they would add new animals this way as well. Imagine how cool it would have been when lions were added to the game if they did NOT tell us with all the publicity beforehand but the animals just turned up in game play after a "bug-fix"; players would have gone crazy with excitement. They could do the same now with Dall sheep in Yukon or a new animal in Medved.
I'd rather hunt real animals than myths.
Happy hunting!
