Trophy Lodge - More Medium/Large wall mounts

There are a TON of small wall mounts that only fit ducks or rabbits, and there are not nearly enough duck and rabbit variety to justify so many of them IMO

Meanwhile I am struggling to find places to put all the various deer and color variations of those deer on the walls because there are so few larger mounts compared to small ones

Here is an idea:

When you create a Trophy Lodge, you can choose one of three preset designs, each with their own larger or smaller amount of trophy sizes depending on what you want to focus on

Big Game Lodge > This would have a lot of Large and Extra Large wall and floor mounts

Game Lodge > This has a more equal ratio of all the different sizes

Varmint Lodge > This is the CURRENT trophy lodge, with a heavy focus on small mounts

I checked out the lodge, in the first room there are 11 small wall mounts, compared to 6 medium, 2 large, and 1 extra large. It also has 2 extra large floor stands, and 2 medium floor stands. The other rooms are just as bad as this, with a heavy focus on small mounts for ducks rather than bigger ones you can put deer heads on.

Here's an adjustment I made adding Large wall mounts instead, where you could put deer heads instead of small game

sure, it's 4 instead of 6, but it's 4 heads of deer rather than 6 more ducks.

i really hope the devs read this and take it into consideration, because right now i'm very disappointed in the trophy lodge.

I want to display deer, antelope, moose, bison. You know, the big game, that has a variety of horns / antler designs and a variety of colors to aim for, not 50 ducks

I'd also like to see some extra XL mounts as having to now decide which mount to remove.

i think it'd be nice to have a few options when creating a Trophy Lodge. Have a few pre-made varieties and you can choose one to create, and they'd each have a different ratio of mounts so that those that want a ton of small ones can have them, but those that want a bunch of XL ones can have them, etc

yeah it's like the towers and blinds I wish they would just give us X amount and let us place them and chose the tower/blind style we wish as most are not in places I ever hunt so just a waste of money to build!

i'd love to be able to line up my 4 different Gemsbok heads, but instead they all have to be in separate rooms becuase there just are not enough medium/large/XL head mounts.

i don't even know what to do with the 40+ extra small wall mounts

I checked out the lodge, in the first two rooms alone there's more than 15 small wall mounts, and that's just the entry way and the room to its left if facing the staircase.

What I would like is a generic "mount point" on the wall, without any limitations as to size. You would then place any animal you wanted there, with or WITHOUT a plaque. You would cycle through the plaques (and no plaque) similar to the way you cycle through the animal poses. The plaques themselves would just be decorative and in no way related to the animal being mounted. This would allow you to have, for example, an antlers-only mount on a smaller sized plaque, or a straight-up head-only mount, etc. You could have a room full of Red Deer heads if that is what you wanted, or rabbits; all your choice.

that's a good idea too, it's silly how much space antlers need, when they could easily be mounted on the smaller wall plaques

bumping this because the new TRUracks makes it all the more necessary to be able to hang more medium-large mounts in your trophy lodge

who needs 50 duck mounts? Especially now that each deer is going to be different

please give us more medium-large wall mounts instead of so many small duck/rabbit mounts

I still feel this is a problem, please devs allow us to put something OTHER than 50 ducks in our trophy lodge, especially now that mroe things are getting Tru Racks

i regret buying this DLC because i feel like the trophy lodges are bloody useless other than as a duck exhibition. My only hope is that the trophy lodge is adjust to allow display of the real trophies, the unique ones, the deer and elk and moose with tru racks

didnt the lodge have more space for big animals in the beta ? i could swear i put some way bigger animals on the full body mounts in the room right from the entrance + there were more of them iirc

i dont think the lodge is bad atm. i really like it. but it could be even better with some small tweaks here and there.

please? With even more tru-rack specimens, i'm yet again reminded of how useless the trophy lodge is unless you like to display dozens of ducks / rabbits

any thoughts devs, on letting us place what we want, where we want? Deer can fit on the smaller mounts that you won't let us put them on, so can cougars and bears. There is no reason to restrict us to only a handful of places for the most popular trophy types and give us DOZENS of pathetically small duck / rabbit mounts

i really regret buying the trophy lodge DLC. It's useless to me right now. How can i display all the cool deer and elk and bears i get, when i can only fit a dozen into a gigantic trophy lodge? There is so much space in there that we cannot use for the GOOD trophies

yeap and I would also like to see at least one maybe two custom mounts where you can mount two animals either same of different to create a custom mounted scene like a bear attacking some other animal or perhaps a couple of wolves or what have you and the 2-3 slots on the mount would handle any size animal so you can create your own custom mount!
