Thank you for your answer ;)
And of course this makes a some sense as in the game the difficulty level is upside down. First its hard as hell and the more skills and guns you get the easier it becomes.
The only challenge later in the game is to go for Diamonds but they are to rare to be a sufficient goal and if you find a possible animal the risk screwing it by a bad shot is terrible high and too much things to consider about the stats.. even if i am a big fan of the harvest count as it forces you to harvest all animals even the mishitted..
And last but not least the game misses a global statistic to compare to other players to force ambitionated people to approve their skills not only high scores but also expertly behavior.
But the game stops not only to give more skills and perks it also stops showing you your experience level.. you simply get any points ansmore except for guns...
all a little strange to me and have been discussed several times but all in all with no reaction of the deve team..
Plus increasing the level cap would enable players to get even more skills and perks (maybe every 5 levels). Surely this would be realistic because the more you hunt the better you get??
As it is for me I've restarted again (backing up my old level 60 save) and I'm at level 43 on my second play through!
I did the same.. now i got a second lvl 60 char, but my stats are crippled... all the diamonds i caught before are not mentioned in the stats, thats a little sad.
In a way yes. The thing is though, this is not what the game has been going for so far. The missions play a big role, you have leveling and ingame cash. There are no leaderboards, no truRack system no nothing. So Just going around hunting in CotW can get boring quite fast. In theHunter Classic you can go around and just hunt because there are features that make it interesting like the truRack system and the hunting lodges. CotW has none of this so other than trying to come across a diamond rated animal, there is really not much else.
