Display the name of the gun on bottom right of the screen

The only thing I would like to have in this game is the name of the gun on bottom right of the screen.
Sometime we should just remember which weapon we're using or by number of ammo. Cause it's not displayed.
Like in theHunter Classic it's displayed.

For exemple both the .338 and the 7mm have 1 ammo and both gun are similar.

only similarity in the 7mm and .338 is that they have a barrel and forestock and are a rifle....

they're quite different visually.

Good idea though, would be nice to see that for guns that actually look similar.

Or for anything, like for any item we use, callers, binocular, it would be nice to have the name of the item. I don't know whey they didn't do it like in theHunter Classic.

UI doesn't seem to be something the COTW crop of devs know how to do. You'd be surprised how hard it is to find a decent UI guy in the game development world lol. It's harder than it looks.

Oh yeah that much! Good to know!
Also the Inventary list was hard to read with my old screen. With my new 24" screen now I can read more easely the game menus.

good point on the callers, didn't think of those. i constantly get the distressed rabbit and the boar caller confused.

i personally dont need/want more hud elements, but a choice to turn that on/off wouldnt hurt

Yeah axactly. At least the ammo. Or the gun and the ammo in bottom.

And for the caller also. All items, even scent mask, binocular even if it's obvious.
