Parque Fernando's local atmosphere badly off
This is directed to devs.

Let me begin by saying I am born and bred in Argentina. I'm 48 years old and live in Buenos Aires. I vacation in Patagonia every year and know the area and its people quite well.

Guys, whoever you've been consulting to get the local color into Parque Fernando is very lacking!

Carolina's dialogue is full of wrongly used or phrased figures of speech and foul language (I'm surprised to hear swearing in this game!!). For example: right from the get-go she talks about "pendejitos". Do you even know what that means? It's like saying "little fu**ers". "Pelotudos", another word she uses, translates to something like "sh**heads". You certainly don't hear language like that at Leyton..

Also, the names of many locations are really, really let's say... improvable. For example, Lago Perón; lakes in Patagonia have been named traditionally after renown explorers, not sleazy, corrupt politicians. Another area is named after Evita (Bosque de Eva in the game). It's almost insulting!
There are also some names that look like you googled the translation into Spanish and just slapped them into the game, like "Junto al lago" (was that originally "Lakeside"?). In Spanish we would say "Costa del lago". "Prados de lupinos" sound like another example of this. And "Selva Puma" would be more like "Bosque/monte del puma". We have no selva (jungle) in the Patagonia..
"Los mueros pasan" is an example of poor editing/checking. It should read "Los MUERTOS pasan", if you must use that as a name, for it doesn't make much sense, even if spelled correctly.
These are just a couple of examples.

And then there's the business of fauna. In all my life I have not seen or heard of water buffalo in the Patagonia!! You have boar, ñandú (like a smaller ostrich), guanacos (like a llama, but bigger), foxes, carpinchos (a type of beaver, if you will), liebre mara (a large type of hare), and vizcachas (a rodent reminiscent of the tapir) that you could have put in the game, they all make for great hunting and ACTUALLY EXIST!

As and Argentinian I'm finding it quite challenging to get on with the game through all this carelesness on the devs' behalf. I offer my time freely for consultation on anything pertaining to this project. Really. Free of charge.

Or don't use me or my time, but PLEASE do something about it!!

Their translator was Gaston. Carolina warned he cannot be trusted

Thank you for sharing. That's interesting. But eh, I somewhat figured there would be a lot of mistakes. I think I recall some German calling out dialogue inaccuracies in Hirschfelden a long time ago too. Maybe it was pronunciation.

I've never wanted to hunt a small ostrich more than I do right now.

We need to put these things in game!

Its the same with the european bisons on Hirschfelden (Germany). There are no european bisons in Germany. Only for a project 8 bisons were returned to the wild in 2013 so the number of them can grow again, but the "Group" is still very small (maybe they are 20 now).

I noticed exactly the same things. I am argentinian too. This whole add on map is far from what Patagonia and Arg are, sadly.

I always thought the map was lacking fauna wise, always have been a strong supporter of guanacos for the map too! Imagine seeing them in the dry mountains instead of the same red deer from herschfelden. Also more ducks and small game like mara or armadillo would add so much to the map
