That’s my question to the developers.
Seriously? Sheesh man...where Classic shined, why NOT let that translate into this modern endeavor? No one wants it to BE Classic, but certain standards are just that; standards. Regressing from implementing cool, realistic aesthetics for the sake of not wanting to be too similar to Classic is nonsense.
back to the OP why would we want to pick up the animal? we can't do anything with them, at least not yet, so there's no real point to that is there?
No mention of blood color change that i know of, but i rarely get to watch their streams as they always happen during work hours and twitch and whatnot are blocked here. Anyway, you get that info from the bloodsplatter track, not the huntermate.
The reason to pick up the animals is so that you can position them on the ground however you want, so you can take your own unique trophy shot. It's something Classic did very well, it gives the player even more freedom to make their hunt special
Yes, a proper photo mode is a fairly highly requested feature and I would love it. Even just being able to move the animals like you suggested would be helpful.
classic did a really great job there
I guess i harvest my kills fast enough i don't see the wounds vanish, playing last night i didn't think to wait to see if they would.
I was just thinking of another thing close to this topic that bothers. Has anyone noticed how funky the way (and consistently the same) the animals look when dead on the ground? They all die in almost the exact same position (legs underneath their bodies pointed back). They already have some ragdoll elements implemented for the animals, it would be so nice to have random death poses for the animals based on terrain, speed the animal was running when died, etc
Agreed! That's a great idea.
