Can we get a Northeast Map please?
Can the devs please create a map (or allow users to) which resembles the Northeastern United States in the fall during rifle season? A November/Thanksgiving map which is basically just a deadwood forest with minimal greens and brown dead leaves littered all over the ground, up to your knees at times. Every hunting game, and map in this game, is either the summer/spring or the Pacific Northwest. The fall never actually represents the fall season of Pennsylvania or New York. Its way too green and springy in these games. A real cold fall looks like dead trees and dead brown leaves EVERYWHERE. I love this type of environment for hunting because the visibility is usually pretty far because all of the trees are dead or dying. You can see right through them like stacks of toothpicks. I'd also love to see the trail effect this game has in the grass put to use flattening your path through knee-high leaves instead of tall grass. The weather would simply be gray skies and windy, raining/drizzly, or very sunny with no clouds, high visibility, and just crisp/cold air.

I can't believe it hasn't been done in either version of 'theHunter' since it represents such a large hunting population in this country. Every time I hunt November 16th in upstate New York, it looks like brown dead leaves on the ground, no grass, and lines of dead trees for miles. I've never hunted when it's still green.

In regards to wildlife, how would it differ from the other North American maps?

There's more to this game than wildlife variety. The maps are very important because of the scenery and environment which you stare at and listen to for hours. Its a very common environment come the fall and hunting season and to not include it is criminal.

I get where you are coming from Alpha.
And I love both yukon and layton for what they are.
But there are incredible hunting spots with equally incredible hunting species across the world that has been untouched.
Auz,NZ,India,Asia etc etc
Each with unique scenery and wildlife.
Agreed, i'd rather see Auz, NZ, India, Asia, or even a 2nd Africa map, like Central Africa, before another US map.

As someone from the northeast, I don't think it would be the best choice. I think the best option for the eastern US would be the south, like Louisiana.
Layton Lakes is actually a tad bit ambiguous with its location. Most of its historical references are American, but the place names are predominantly Cree derived and the ranges of the animals only really overlap in British Columbia. That said, the US is so diverse in wildlife and biomes that I really wouldn't mind seeing other maps. Other than the Louisiana one, I'd love to see New Mexico.
