Savanna Endangered Species (Elephant Lions and co.)
I got told that the developers will not add some animals to the reserve over a law against the hunting of digital endangered species. But why does the Hunter Unlimited 2010 have exactily that when there is a law against it ? Is this just a joke from the devs so they don´t have to make new animals other than retexture the old once ? I don´t get it someone has some info ?

there is no law, they have just decided to not include them for whatever reasons they came up with. they did hint at we will see what the future brings.

There's a law against murdering digital humans. I don't know how Grand Theft Auto keeps getting away with it.

The fact that people keep getting thrown in jail because games like GTA and Farcry exist is a tragedy. These oppresive laws need to be repealed.

Rock and Roll will corrupt our youth, Video games promote violence and the moon is made of cheese. All fables told in the past. You want to hunt the big 5? Look elsewhere.

Forget about the BIG 5.
Hogs are already dangerous enough so far. I got killed by wild boars and their African brothers so many times.

Hogs, cape buffalo, blue beasts have all killed me.

This is what I think, because you can do whatever you want in games, from hunting dinosaurs to playing as a stormtrooper. Hunting endangered wildlife in a video game isn't exactly going to get you in trouble, as you didn't actually HUNT the animal, it is just a collage of moving pixels and code.

Also, since when have lions been endangered? I thought they were Vulnerable.

Lol, if you search "are lions endangered?" it says they are Vulnerable but all of the other search results below it say it is endangerd. Which one is it then?!

They are endangered, but not Endangered (note capitalisation). The IUCN has 'Endangered' as an explicit ranking in their Red List. What is generally called 'endangered' in vernacular consists for the IUCN's purposes of 3 tiers, CR, EN and VU, under the category of 'Threatened'.

maybe the law wasnt in effect for the 2010 game but it is now in the later years ? also graphics are much better in games so thats an even more reason for the law to be in effect
