there should be an anti-cheat to ban cheaters cuz it makes me sick that i see some guys use cheat like kids to level up and get money with one click instead real hunting that others tried for like 1 year if u dont want to hunt then dont buy this game ffs i cant enjoy the game when i see cheaters

That being said, thanks to God, this game is not counter strike, it´s not a competitive game.

In my case I am not very interested in getting diamonds, gold...only in the hunting process and sometime I only have interest in enjoy with those wonderful landscapes, the sound of the wind on the top of a hill...

If you watch the following video, from 0:00 to 13:00 you can see 100 skill point, 100 perks points, and money like a mountain.

I really don´t mind, I find it funny and I laugh a lot when I see it.

Many people knows than this game has a lot of more important things for fixing than add any anticheat.

cheats exist because some people cant play games like others because they suck if you want to do it for fun its different(like gta) and wont last too much after a bit like one week or less it get boring af(every cheater knows that so he says i should have some fun i got bored i should show my cheats to all world so maybe they get bored from their normal playing)
if u wanna have some fun do it offline if u got bored dont come to online server to show it to all people ffs

I don't know what all the upset is over. I used a save file and a trainer to max out cash, levels and perk points. I did it because I didn't feel like grinding out new weapons, equipment and skills.

It's a part of the game that didn't interest me personally, because all I wanted to do was hunt things with varied equipment. I don't use movement speed modifiers, or freeze animals, or spawn them either, because what's the point at that rate?

Some people just don't want to grind for hours just to get a new gun, or a new caller, etc etc.

I don't understand why this makes y'all so ticked.

but anyway max level and cash sounds so much better than freeze and spawn i can understand you but i cant dont understand other cheaters they just wanna ruin the game and they say we are enjoying well do it offline

Reasonable assumption, but I only have a single VAC ban on my account because I forgot to turn off a trainer playing with some friends in a private server on a dead game. Believe me, or don't, I don't care.

right but when that game has a multiplayer feature that cheat can in fact impact things like leaderboard and maybe that isn't a problem for you but for some people it's a big problem. Not that this games leaderboard has ever worked great if at all but point is what he does in SP mode can and does impact the community

That for me is the very reason I don't play multi. The system is janky but yet you let other people, by what they choose to do, affect how you feel. They are controlling your enjoyment.

Just saying. Good luck with multi-player.

I personally don't play MP mode because of the idiots that join just to ruin the game and since no ban feature just not worth it.

But there are those who do play with friends and sometimes friends do cheat. I had one in my friends list who was cheating so removed him. Found out mainly case he was on top of the leader board followed by like 10-12 players who were maxed out and his XP clearly showed he had been cheating.

I tried multi in a racing game some time ago. That ended it for me. Going around a corner and 3 guys are coming at you in the opposite direction.

Hope you guys that like multi can get some relief from cheaters, but like everything else, the cheaters will figure a way to screw over you. Good luck.

I'm playing GTA V in single player mode ONLY with cheats. When i going to multi player - i just delete all cheats from GTA V's folder.

Me too, I don't play multiplayer.
Why? Because hunting normally is a single job, where you have to be quiet and patient, and wait, watch and shoot animals.

It is not an action game, where you and your pals run and jump around and spook and shoot at anything that moves.
And exactly thats what it looks, when you take a look into the YT Videos according to Multi player on CotW. For me that looks awful resp. very childish! And that many of those players cheat I am not very surprised.

I was taught at a young age that hunting was about competition between you and the prey, not between hunters. Granted, you could brag if you bagged something exceptional, but that wasn't the focus of hunting. This is why I ignore leader boards and multiplayer. That and the fact that most of the bugs in this game are tied to multiplayer.

Was raised the same way. if you're not hunting for food/hides/tools and using the full animal as much as you can, you shouldn't be hunting. They've turned my favorite hunting area into a guided hunt only 2 seasons ago. There's a petition going around now to change that as the hunters going out there are only for trophies, they don't harvest the meat or use the hides, etc.

As for cheaters, they'll always exist, it's impossible to get rid of them all. Dev's will find fixes for some of it, but there's way way more cheaters than devs, they'll always find a way to cheat to win. Seems it's gotten worse with the end of the Millenials and start of the new generation. way more pay to win games out there and cheats and cheaters. They don't want to work for anything they want it now and handed to them. Almost scary to think what the world will be like when they come into power in 15 20 years.

Multiplayer was a good way to go, because hunting with friends opens up an entirely new experience. Leaderboards and competitive features, though? Those can go, because once someone gets the best possible example that the game can generate of each animal (likely within the first few days after everything's fully set-up), we're done. There's not enough to compete on, and the difference between the top tier and everyone else would be RNG.

Add to that the incessant requests for balance, nerfs, and complaints about cheaters, and it becomes a full-time job to manage something that ultimately doesn't matter.

CotW is hunting, not F1 gaming.
