Whats up with the Moose Caller?
I bought the Moose Caller, thinking oh boy this is going to be cool, its big and i bet is has a great big deep howl, like a moose, so i get out in Moose country and pull it out all excited and give it a blast and its sounded just like a kitty meowing, omg i was embarassed to use it and had to put it away, and now i have all these kitties following me everywhere i go. come on...

Some players had an issue with how loud the callers were. Some were very loud in my opinion, and they adjusted them. I suppose it's mostly a matter of opinion on whether a call is loud or quiet and the final and best solution would be to add a slider in the audio options to adjust the caller sound levels so each player can adjust it to suit them.

would be nice to kind of make it a deeper sound though, sounds like a kitty.
I have never had an issue with the volume of a caller, this is the only one that just doesnt seem to fit.

Oh, the pitch of the sound! Sorry, I read that wrong the first time.:steammocking:

I guess a volume slider wouldn't help much then.

I'll move this to Thoughts and Suggestions. Who knows, maybe the Devs will read it and agree.:steamhappy:

I have used an actual predator call to call RL coyotes and quite sucessfully I might add...I listened to an actual recording of a distressed rabbit to learn how to blow it.. I have also heard real live rabbits make this sound and the caller in game dosen't sound like a rabbit to me..the phrasing is wrong...the wounded fawn sounds a little more believable....the pig one is very hog like..I have only hunted mule deer ...I have never heard one make a call of any kind in RL....I haven't heard the moose call in game yet..but...now you got me curious to hear it
