It's not an opinion it's a fact. The number one objective in the game is hunting, from which you get money. 250 isn't that bad when you consider the amount of money how much you get from one animal.

even a level 1 doe is worth 550 to a level 4 player, so yes prices arent bad when you get paid, and it is a rental after all. the biggest thing about the cabin is the right to choose the time you get up..in other words...control of time in game, you can jump ahaed to any time you like.

I agree. It a very annoying and useless mechanic. I guess it´s to encurage the player to explore. But that´s what you want to do anyways + there is hunting pressure + missions. It´s especially annoying when you have a lot of missions in one area that need to be done at night etc. Even if it would cost a small amout it would be ok, but that the costs increase is just stupid.

I don't like the cost of resting so I never use it. I'd prefer to have the option to set the starting time immediately after clicking on "continue" in the starting menu. This would be like theHunter classic. I liked that aspect.

It's not the price that bothers me, it's the time it takes to earn that money. Vital hits kill quickly but flesh wounds kill very slowly. I get as many vital hits as flesh wounds because animals often move at the moment I'm squeezing the trigger.
