Feels as if they had 25 people working on trees and land scaps, for a beautiful area to hunt in. Thankful for that looks great, but on the other hand, feels like they had 2 people working on the Animals, With games out there that you can hardly tell it is not real life, you would think they would have done more with the focus of the game, the Animals, More variety of looks pre type of animal. I have white tail deer out side my window every night, and not two look the same to me. And the Sounds of the Aniamls wow haha for If you do any kind of reserch you would know a Doe does not Grunt a warning, the grunt is the bucks mating call, the Doe dose a Mow sound, and the warning is a swish sound and stomp there foot. I had a female Elk do the male elk mating call as a warning call the other day.... I think it would be just as much time, to put the correct sounds as the incorrect ones, WHEN WHY PUT THE WRONG ONE....
I was thinking about getting out my copy of deer hunter 2005 now that was a great hunting game, If this had that game play and these graphics that would be a great game, hell if hunter classic had the graphis that would be a great game.
Now i am in the mood for a good, gameplay, hunting game, to bad my copy of deer hunter 2005 is 450 miles away at my parents house.
In classic hunter when you stumble upon a herd of Elk, you can scout out the biggest one and shoot it .... with this game if you stumble upon a herd of Elk, they all look the same and you dont know which one to shoot.
You only have your Binocs telling you which one is rated higher than the other
Starting to wish they would have just Improved to graphics and animal behavor on the Classic For thus of us that have spent hundreds of dollars on that one. They should have focused on that. They seem to have spent so much time on the landscape they did not focus on the gameplay and Animals. Just a few things that should have been in the release copy of the game, that would have made this great. Number one different antlers, the correct sounds for the aniamls for mating and warning, if you put the wrong one how hard to put the correct one, same amount of time, they should know the aniamls they are making, tree stands a must, in classic that where I am in a tree all the time I run to a good spot put up the stand and call in the aniamls. Classic you can run your butt off and get there i like that.
" I don't see it having longevity without TruRacs" Aman to that, I have already found myself looking for other hunting games that I hope come out soon just saw a post with video of Cabela's Big Game Hunter PRO HUNTS, watched a few videos the aniamls look great the calls sound awsome, they show as you hit the aniamls. Make me even more let down with this game, knnowing they could have done so much more, COTW landscape and Cabelas Animals and sounds. Now that would be a great game.
With the capibility of PCs these days, geuss my hopes where way to high for the quality of the game, Just thought with how great the landscapes look, they would put more time into the focus of the game the aniamls and to make the behaver and calls and different looks, so much more realistic. I have said it 1000 times before and i will say it agian, if you can take the time to put a sound file in the game, WHY not the correct one.....
