What do you think about VR?

I've been playing this game for a while now. More like casual, than going on for a Diamond.
However, as a Rift owner, sometimes i think about how great it would be in VR.
There are already some VR Hunting Simluations, but they lack Quality and Gameplay. This game is pretty furbished on almost all things, and runs smoothly on my PC. With a Ryzen 3 1300x, a GTX 1060 and 16 Gigs of RAM i have about 50-60 FPS on everathing Ultra. Turning down things like AA, shadows and Render Distance i would be able to gain the recomended 60 to 90 FPS for VR.
And i think it would be AWESOME. The world is stunningly beautiful and running around it in VR, searching for animals, sitting down in the grass and taking a deep breath to aim would immerse me so much.
It does'nt even need touch support. Just looking around and playing with a controller would be awesome. Could be tricky with aiming etc, but i would love to see this.

What do you guys think about it?

Yeah, i know that this topic comes up pretty often.
However this post is from 2017, when the game just got released.

PicSoul, imagine being able to be inside the beauty landscape you have created not only to look through a window... Wow, absolutely a place to get lost after a hard working day. Then with the ability to use a gunstock with your motion controllers (Oculus Touch and the Vive grips) and bam... you're there! Oh, for better immersion just rob a lavender pillow from the mother-in-law and put it in your pocket - the smell will do the little trick. ;-) I can't tell you how much I want th cotw in VR. Yes, there are less players in VR than on monitor, but I would think that the most interested VR players would pay full price for a VR implementation. This time VR is here to stay, so it's a invest in the future. Go and talk to Oculus, I think that they would be glad to see this coming and spend a few dollars to get this done.

Lots of people who talk smack against VR dont even have one and they are missing out on it as there is tons of gamers and games with VR. Devs please add htc vive support.Currently it supports tobii tracker what ever that is lol,who knows

to the devs....if you add vr support you wont have my money but my whole wallet lol :-p As a developer it makes perfect sense in terms of money and business as it would generate more money -I know the vr is expanding massively,not only in the gaming world but also vr use in business and in the medical field.So those who talk smack that vr is dead are living in age of ♥♥♥♥ erectus and need to get out of their burrow and open their eyes

I just want to state again, that head turning, is a game feature that is very important for a game like this. When you're walking around and you hear a noise you want to be able to turn your head in that direction, to take a look, without changing your heading. Also being able to just look around at these environments, that are very beautiful, while walking around would be a amazing add in. Every player, in game, could use that regardless of hardware by using Alt as it functions in games such as Arma, DayZ, War Thunder, etc... At release I want that tied to TrackIR. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I'd pay $20 or more for TrackIR support. Many many players have TrackIR. Once that's implemented you have almost everything you need for VR. Just add in the image alterations to make that happen. I think Classic already has head turning. So, this will probably eventually come to COTW.

This game is perfect for VR. This needs to happen. Add it as DLC.
I am buying 5 more DLCs right now to help fund a VR DLC pack.
Start working on it right away please :)
