Current Antler system is horrible
Why can we not have some more realistic racks in the game?

1. whitetail antlers are murderously unrealistic. like, yeah, a 16 point, 200 inch deer is SUPER realistic. plus, they all look exactly the same. there's only about 20 different rack variations in the game for WT (not counting great ones). how about reducing the amount of points on the average rack? also, realistically, i've seen huge 8 points, tiny 10 points, massive 6 points, pea sized 12 points. the amount of points on an antler should not matter.
also, please just add a RRG system like ultimate hunting has? (we need some abnormalities, split tines, drop tines, what not, yk?

2. Mule deer don't even look like mule deer. their racks are far too wide. look up a picture of a mule deer, or if you already know what they actually look like, you will understand how horrible the design is. the ones in the hunter classic are actually pretty decent, and that game is 8 years older than Cotw. Please, fix this, its horrible.

3. Legacy racks were better. more realistic scoring, better looking. i don't remember exactly, but i'm pretty damn sure even the biggest ones were not 16 points.

thats all for my rant today, thanks for reading :(

Once upon a time all whitetails had the same rack. Didn't matter if it was 50 Kg or 120 kg in size. All Mule deer racks were identical as well. In concert with this the animals weight contributed to the animals final score. Thus the antler score AND the weight of the animal contributed equally to the animals score, along with how fast the animal died. In a nutshell, as you approached your kill with a Highly estimated antler score . you'd be wondering if it weighed enough and died quickly enough for the animal to be a diamond. Many fell short by 1 pt of the min diamond score of 950 out of the 1000 possible. When Tru Racs came out EVERYTHING changed in the scoring system. We got 2 shots instead of 1 and only the antlers were used for scoring the animal. When it comes to Moose, I can't figure out how they determined their measurements. The width for example. The number they get isn't realistically based upon metric system or the U.S. systems. So what? It's better than the one size fits all in appearance that we had before. Take a look at the current world record Mule Deer and you'll see wide with a big W. I'd rather have overblown racks than what we had before.

absoulutely, im just saying there is much to be improved here. we have had truracs for over 4 years now, theres been more than enough time to improve the racks. lol
