PC vs Console
I have been playing on the PC for some time. My nephew asked me to play on PS4 with him so I did. The game was so much easier, animals spooked much less and at much closer distances. On PC I cant walk within 150m of something, on PS4 I can run to about 150m haha. Anyone else notice this? Is there a setting for it or something?

It might be tied to the differences between SP and MP modes, MP being a little easier and having more animals on maps. Species or the level of the animals involved might also play a part in what you've experienced.

I'm wouldn't rule it out, especially the differences in SP and MP, even though I do play MP on my PC more often than I do SP. However when we play on PC(most of the time) it's because I am 4 hours drive from him so we aren't playing on the same network. When I played on the PS4 with him it was while I was out his way for a weekend and they have 2 PS4's so we were on the same network. So I wonder if it's to do with latency or something. I don't care enough to put too much thought into it, just didn't know if it was something in say the settings or a reason everyone knew and I'm just getting behind on things while playing other games.

I found console version of the game don't shut down your session if you stop playing. It's just hold it on pause.
So it allow you to harvest dead species even on the next day.
On PC shutting down game session make all carcasses disappear.
