thats wild, i found like 70 and i searched all drink zone locations in layton lakes

In WotH, Needs Zones are fixed and the same for every player. In COTW, need zones spawn randomly, but remain until they are eroded by too much hunting pressure or by killing all of its animals.

In COTW, not all animals have drinking times. But yes, you should be able to pick up the drinking zones by walking along the waterways. But you have to take the drinking times into account. The best time to find drinking zones is just after the drinking zone time slot has ended.
