Peanut butter / bait+trail cam.

Watching some youtube videos right now and seeing peanuts/ peanut butter. corn small fish chicken and so on via Trail Cams. Could you imagine if we could place $$ bait at feed zones with a $$ "trail cam" type system that show the estimates of bronze - diamond or even a great one being in the area. maybe a photo of the rack/face showing the best of the 1-12 in the herd. We have the callers as a form of lure. Having a bait/camera screen shot mechanic would be really really cool and help towards finding diamonds. Limit it to 1 cam per zone or maybe have static locations like the hunting blinds. Could be a really awesome mechanic to add to the game.

Cool 'shibea' man! Buuuut think about the amount of data that wud have to be stored and reviewed. Too much strain on AI.

Well each animal already has concept for scoring before its shot. The full herd is already #'s when they show up. You get 1-3 cameras per map that isn't a lot of data stored. The models already in the game so it would be easy to take a static picture since they would be prepped for mounts. I think its conceivable to pull off. Its a matter of how many places / how many in total per map. If the concept can be pulled off with a single location per map shooting a few respawns new animals. Test it with 1 location per map thats prime with non great ones. if it works out expand :P

I'm thinking that in order to have camera photos to review for how ever many animals that trip it over a certain period of time wud just be too much extra work for the AI.

drink zones / feed zones are only 2-3 hours of that ingame time. its only a set of 1-16 animals that could show up at that feed zone. its not showing roaming animals that pass through in my mind. its just showing the best of the herd that shows up. I'm not suggesting the best white tail / black tail / bear / moose from 1 camera. I'm saying this camera sits at a food/water zone specific to 1 animal that constants that spot. It could be too tough to pull of but theres ways to approach it and simplify the concept. I just like the concept, idk how it could be incorporated successfully. glad you like the thought tho.

Zones are used by multiple species. Maybe you cud set the camera to be triggered only by certain species or trophies.
