All on foot. The landscape is simply gorgeous. I rest now at Robert's sanctuary.
There I saw and heard what the "saltie" looks like. Quite a monster.
My favs till now were the Tundra and Africa.
The devs did put the bar much higher on this DLC! Worth every Euro cent.
Had to force myself to stop playing way into my evening.
I've seen the Banteng, and took a gold at about 75m with the 300 Canning.
I've opened up all but 2 lookouts, and most of the outposts, so it was fun exploring on the ATVs for that. I was able to complete the main story arc missions already, lots of side missions - I hope they are endless.
(Had to take the Banteng with the 303, all I was carrying, and shot him in the back of the head. So wrong weapon and a ruined trophy. Bugger.
Then to further foul the water I left the game without confirming the kill.)
The Map has a great feel about it and the different environmental presentations flow into each other very convincingly. Personally think this is one of the best maps they have made so far.
But of course as a kiwi I cant allow it to be said the bloody Aussie map is better than the New Zealand one.
So First among equals I reckon.
Looking forward to hearing what a dinkum Aussie Hunter has to say about it.
Map size feels huge and it's not just setting up near water anymore you do have to go looking for animals.
I do have one little nitpick and thats in the dry scrubby regions like where you start there's galah's or cockatoos screeching in the background but it needs crows and magpies aswell to really make it right.
