Bow, Crossbow & DLC Questions
I'm probably going to buy the game & am considering DLC to buy before the sale ends. TIA for your help. I'm new to the game & don't know much yet. I noticed weapon pack 1 has a bow & I think a crossbow. Do bows & crossbows have unlimited arrows?

I plan on buying the Diamond Bundle. The bundle looks good but is missing some desired items that I'd have to buy separately. Is the Weapon Pack 1 DLC worth it? I think I'll want to focus on hunting big game & maybe some birds. Is the Bloodhound DLC worth it?

You have to buy the arrows and bolts. There are different weights to them and you need to make sure you are using the correct arrow/bolt for the particular animal you are hunting.

Why would you think you would you have unlimited arrows and bolts? Do you think you get unlimited bullets as well?

That aside, I think the older weapons packs are worth it. The newest one, not so much.

The general consensus on the DLC seems to recommend:
Tents and Blinds
Treestands and Tripods
ATV
Bloodhound
The Ducks and Geese
High Tech Pack

BJWyler, I was hoping you get unlimited arrows & bolts, I've seen it in other games. But I'm new & lack knowledge, so I had no clue, lol.

Money to buy arrows isn't much of a problem. There is a skill/perk in game that allows you to recycle some arrows, probably RNG based. I thought bow hunting would be lame in the game, on the contrary... I really enjoy it. ATV is useful mostly for the missions... a lot of pointless driving is needed for them. If you have the money, and it's on sale, I'd get as many of the DLC's as possible. Everything is pretty useful in it's niche. The game is great, unfortunately it's also glitchy but you can live with it. Most of the time it's fine.

.243 soft points are free I believe. They aren't that great but it's the only way to hunt in the event you go broke.
