Crocodile Anatomy

Today I ventured further in the mangroves to hunt salt water crocodiles on OZ map.
My goal was to achieve the Crocodile Hunter side mission. For this I had to achieve a brain shot or a neck/spine shot. And also a kill at less than 25m ....

Took my tripod with me and walked until I heard the typical "hhhhhhmmmm (dinner nearby") and then the spit.

I stopped, deployed the tripod, and scanned surrounding, listening to eventual movements.
Had a glimpse of a form in water nearby. Stood up and moved closer. Spit upon confirmed he was close by. Even more by noises made as he went back in water or came out of it again later. Used bomb to kill my smell for a moment.

I waited on tripod. Not able to see him in the mangrove roots mess.
Then when all was quite again he suddenly appeared coming out of water and walking slowly toward my spot, calm, not aware on my presence at all.

I had marked the spot in front of me were he would cross the 25 m boundary.
He was huge. A "very hard". Based on doc I had fetched on the net I went for the tiny brain and shot him with 7mm in the middle of the eyes and a bit above on skull.

Instant death! With one shot I had achieved both requirements for the side mission. The harvest revealed I had hit both spine and brains, and at 22 meters.

Only one crocodile today but it made my day.

Hey Dundee mate. Can I haz your hat now?
