Two 8-Mythical kangaroos In two different groups
Spent five hours with a bow chasing two hit Mythical kangaroos two different groups but poor shots one was hit with two arrows in him should have found him one arrow showed a good hit could not find any blood at all for both Kangaroos.

The map Is very hard for bow hunting kangaroos ,even when animals cant smell me and In a tripod the moment I look at them with binos they turn and run the other direction even if im 60 yards away. And if Im semi upright they already have my number and think about attacking me,even when im crawling in and wind Is in my favor Kangaroos get up and run away at 60 yards plus this map reminds me of another one where cougars had been set up to where you could not get to closer to them they had them set up for seventy yards before they would flee . And whats with this loud like noise like when you getting hurt noise scares the crap out of you some thing ran you over or animal stomped you ..........For rifle hunters this map is fine I could have killed those Mythical np but bow hunting this map takes it way over the top for Kangaroos have not hunted anything else yet .

The spook distance for Kangaroos Is a bit to much for bow hunting they notice anything while moving and will flee. THe way to hunt these Kangaroos find there rest areas and ambush them coming In or crawl In all the way with a bow.

Yeah, hunting Roos is not as easy as some animals. They are extremely wary and their senses are keen.

I did that mission getting one with a pistol and it is definitely not like stalking other animals.

These Roos might appear to be very casual as they lay around in their wallows, but don't let that casual appearance fool you.

They're always ready to launch on those powerful limbs and will flee a long way before settling down again.

These 'Roos are bat-crap crazy. I had one go aggressive and charge at me from at least 150m away. I heard him coming from behind me, and had to turn around to look for him. They really move fast! I ended up taking him out with the 22-250 at 12m, heart shot.
I've seen a few level 7's (which I could take) and one level 8 so far (too far and travelling fast to shoot).

Oh, the Banteng are not docile. They will go aggressive, but don't seem to be able to run very fast - I think the bison and buffalo are faster. Great fun!

Its a bit much ,Roos just don't want to settle down enough for a shot with a bow even If you look at them thru the binos always on the move when your using the binos not allowing you to get very close problem they never stop moving cant get a shot I played four hours at least, Just as bad as pheasants on new England map lol with a bow. You can ambush them they move thru areas like on a timer I even set up a tripod and they act like im on the ground even when the wind Is in my favor roos coming towards me just turn around and run the other way come to think of It they act like my scent is always going towards them that's the best way to describe it , It just makes me mad im crouched wind In my favor they never stop moving the AI Is a little broken rifles should have np. The best way to kill them Is to crawl Into where they are resting and shoot them staying laying down.

Its like my scent Is always going towards them ,Its kind of broken ,On my map At the first lodge Is where i have two Kangaroos In two different groups that are two Mythicals they come right by the first place you have to go to In game..the wind Is always In my favor but I cant get close the moment I crouch they react If im laying down crawling to 60 yards of them they start sending alerts out and our spooked.I wounded both of them never found blood from either roo I think the game has a problem i looked for a hour It happened twice.

The travel areas for roos are huge several miles In fact EW did a good job It feels like they really are wild and free In game and on the move a lot. Best way to kill them Is to crawl to them while they are resting and shoot 60 or 70 yards laying down with a bow and hope you can see thru the grass for a shot and hit a vital area you get any closer you will get busted the thing I hate most Is the Roos won't give me a shot besides moving at closer than 80 yards If they are moving thru. Thats why I have wounded two Mythicals makes me mad really failed so many times .. took a long time to learn the travel areas for these Roos. I found three rest areas within 250 yards. I have snuck up on them so many times with wind In my favor and they bust me from 65 yards to 85 yards .

I shot a Roo at 70 yards while running got the binos out to watch the Roo stumble and fall EW did a good job on the animation.

Yea, roo animations are pretty good, besides the awkward kick xd

I figured out why I was missing Roos some my screen was In windowed should have been full screen so the bow site was compressed and the yardage pins were way off . Today went after all the other animals and everything went very well. I love the transition from desert like to jungle like Its very nice . I love this map some , I tried using scent eliminator In game ,I did get a little closer but Roos still noticed me sneaking in on my belly ,That Mythical got up looked for a split second and ran off again . I did miss a Mythical with two shots but like I say I was In window mode at the bottom ,I should be good to so today...
