Te Awaroa National Park, Mission The hunt is on

I have just completed the hunt is on follow the Moose trail she then was going to ask me to do something else that would benefit me I think it was the locked gun but the mission wont clear so I cant move on anyone else having the same problem. When will it be fixed Arghhhhh.

That's "The last of its kind" (second last mission) the one he is talking about is 5th last where all you do is find, then follow the moose tracks. As to OP, so the next mission won't actually start? It's called "A favor for a friend" and it is indeed the one where you get the locked .303.

i got a problem with his mission. i got the rifle an the "neck thingy for her" but the mission wont progress further. is there (at the heli site) to interact with? i cant find anything. hunterm8 has the mission active, but nothing "to do" on it...

IIRC, you first check the helicopter, then you can grab the rifle and necklace. After that Kiri asks you to head to a specific outpost (Kākā Hut) and drop the necklace off on the table which should start the next mission.

Im bugged on this mission too! I followed the tracks, Kiri said something, and i thought the mission was finished. But nothing happened, and the mission log still says follow moose tracks to the end. However there is no marker on my map.
I went back to the area, and there were no moose tracks anywhere that i saw, to even attempt picking up the trail.

I encountered the same problem. However, I left the game completely, all the way back to Steam. Started up again, continued and the "Moose Mission" was back.

My dilemma is that I am unable to find the supposed gift of a rifle from the previous mission. "Favour for a friend". There is nothing new in my "Storage or Store" that indicates the rifle was actually stored in my storage as she said.
The added frustration now is that the "Light House" Mission won't start even though it says it is current, it appears that I am to walk the entire coastline to locate the "Light House"

I got past it in the end had to restart the mission I did that by loading the save game from the previous night (I backup computer every night), you have to find the so called gifted Rifle its in an helicopter crash
