Do you need all the dlc's to enjoy this game?
Does the base game have enough content to keep the game fun for at least 20+ hours?

short answer yes. each level has about 5 to 10 hours of story content not including the free roam and self motivated hunts. you get two levels in the base game.

Ew. And I just got done reading that if you want to do fishing in this game, you have to buy a DLC for that. I'm so tired of these money hungry devs charging the people for added features, more animals, skins, etc.

Thank you for the quick response.

the fishing isn't a DLC its a separate but related game. Kinda wish it was included in this game though cause there are some really good fishing spots in this one if you could.

That being said, yes the DLC hunger is tiresome. In my opinion, the only DLC that are worth paying for in this game at least are the additional levels. each of them is intricate, wasn't made as part of the base game when it first came out, and each adds another 5 to 10 hours of story missions with full custom voice actor lines. the work they put into making them deserves compensation. but everything else, the ATV, the dogs, the skins and the extra guns should all be included in the base game price I agree.

If you find you are enjoying the base game, you'll probably end up buying all the DLCs LOL.
Have a look at them in the game's store page, so you can see what each offers.
Steam does package up bundles with more than just the base game content - a few more reserves, hunting equipment and accessories, etc - those are good deals, especially when they are on sale

Um... The game's on sale for $2.99 and you don't need dlcs to enjoy it.

It comes with Layton which is a great map.
The base game weapons need to be unlocked, but they work fine. (polymer bullets, .270 rifle, hyperion scope, then go for the 7mm rifle)
Watch some beginner guides so you understand the mechanics.

and yeah, no fishing in this game.

Less than the cost of a freakin chocolate bar, and they still complain. These whiners must suffer serious pangs at the gas pump and grocery store!!
