I hate hearing that stupid constant growl in my headphones. I ran around 1 lake the other day and shot about 8 of them and there were still plenty around growling before I left. It gets super annoying hearing that growl and it has a weird static click at the end of the growl like when someone releases the talk button on a walkie talkie.
Ive even seen 4 mountain lions laying right on top of eachother. You couldn't tell where each ended and began and then there were more pairs standing on each side of them withing like 15meters. It was 8 right there in a 25 meter circle and that's not even counting the ones to my left on the other side of the lake.
At this point I don't even get excited about seeing a 9legendary one. I've killed so many of them. I don't even care to pick them up anymore and won't go out of my way to track them if I get a bad shot. There's so many its insane. Pick em up for the cash but not worth stalking one down or anything. I killed 2 albino ones in a couple hours the other morning. If that's not a sign theres too many I don't know what is.
I got the impression that this is not hunting anymore, but rather a shooting fest.
Let´s hope they balance this further, I also found it quite immersion breaking how many of those are running around. They even shared their way finding paths, so there were several instances where I saw two or more mountain lions which were walking/trotting the exact same way almost next to eachother.
Aren´t they in rl territorial and don´t accept other mountainlions in their vicinity? I´m not sure but it appears quite unrealistic to me how it is currrently in the game.
Males were both gold, one of them mythical just fraction short from diamond.

So, I started just shooting ALL the MT lion I spot at the lakes & hoping when the new ones spawn it will disperse them a bit. That being said, I am not a fan of nerfing animal pop.
Maybe I will wait it out with them & see what happens. At one lake the other day, the elk showed up 1st. I shot one & was waiting to see if the others would return, but the MT lion started moving in & the elk never came back.
