thoughts on the new map?
Perso I really like it, it's beautiful, fun to explore, the new animals are great either visually or mechanically, the tiger is horrifying in all the best ways. I First map in a while that makes me come back like that.

It is literally the best IMO because it has everything.

Geese, rabbits, muntjac, and foxes for the small game hunters.

Mid to large sized sheep, deer, and antelope for general hunters and those more inclined to those species.

Water buffalo, yak, and tiger for the hunter after dangerous game.

Snow leopards and tahr for people after a challenge.

Dense woodlands, floodplains, and forests for up-close hunters who use lever actions, shotguns, and bows.

Wide open valleys and riverbeds for the long range rifle hunter.

It's basically the best of every map rolled into one. You have the danger of Vurhonga dialed up to 11, the game variety of Emerald Coast, the verticality of SRP and Te Awaora but turned up to 11, the dynamic weather (especially snow) of the Yukon, environmental variety that is basically Emerald Coast dialed up to 11, a new Great One with awesome fur variations, and a list of long awaited arrivals like tigers and tahr.

couldn't agree more with this, I'm genuinely gladly impressed by the map and it's animals, I also love those outpost that are a mixed of observation tower and fast travel base

Agreed. The mixed outpost/lookout towers are awesome, especially when you're exploring the more mountainous areas.

The Gandhare rifle is also amazing, and it being class 4-8 is only a slight nitpick IMO. Still hits like a truck and works for most animals that I hunt.

I enjoy the map a lot, weather changes that's real nice. I wish the trees had a little more detail from a distance ,this map should keep me interested for a while. Had a few glitches concerning this map. Bows are busted or should I say arrow flight. The map plays like It was made for hunting not grinding near water ....I love the feelings It gave off felt like i was going towards Mount Everest looks like the mountain and mountain range and remembering all the lives that have been lost on It and Sherpas can't help but be humbled. All the animals have great calls and seem to sound real. The map Is not over grown to bad , but I wish when you walked thru the brush sounds like a freight train going thru. All and all a nice offering, but fix some of these bugs dam it...

8. Silver Ridge Peaks
9. Revontuli Coast
10. New England Mountains
11. Parque Fernando
12. Rancho del Arroyo
13. Te Awaroa National Park

I'll offer a dissenting opinion.

Sundarpatan is visually the best they have done. In terms of hunting though, it's one of the worst.

I rank it in the bottom three maps:

Parque Fernando
Sundarpatan
New England

I started this map the day it came out. For the moment I simply love it. :-)
Got my first gold tiger today. Beautiful animal. Have not seen snow leopard yet.
But I'm on it :-)
Main mission done (short but good story). Interesting side missions.
I may give my own ranks of all maps I have. Later.
Gee it's cold up here !

you'll have to explain why you dislike the hunting cause so far, there's such a diversity of animals, behaviour and landscape that there's def something for everyone imo

So far none of the missions have been bugged for me, but I've only done 5 or 6 counting main story and side missions together, so it's possible some are bugged.
