Player statistics

Why can´t we get some reasonable player statistics in cotw? That´s something done so lovely and useful in the hunter classic, and I cannot understand why cotw with the gorgeous graphics, the great choice of equipment underperforms so much in that aspect.

I agree. I would love full statistics of kills, per map / level / animal.

Playtime, travle distance and so on.

In the Codex menu you can check distance traveled.

It would be nicer indeed if we would have access to a summary with more information and statistics.

Agreed. The stats seem to be all messed up and pretty meaningless unless you can compare them to other players.

Good statistics: yes. Comparison with other players: no, because the community is infested by cheaters, as you can read everyday in this forum. Comparison would reward the wrong players.

Yeah, just the ability to see your own personal bests for each species would be huge. "New personal record trophy or weight" for whatever species should be something the game tracks and tells you when it happens. Add in the ability to compare your best to a friends best (as in wife), and now you've really got something.

Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but it seems like saving records used to be pretty standard in older games before online was an option.
