2nd i have more than 50 tents and they cost me less than a coffee...
Base game is fine for the price you pay. If they would put all dlcs in the base game not so many people were willing to try it, because it would be really expensive.
If you try the base game and you dont like it that much, you would never need tent, dog and all that So you pay for stuff you never use.
I actually think this concept if fine for this game.
1st - buy the base game ( another one )
2nd - the DLC tents cost at the moment 1.19 $

I always made enough isk in Eve to pay for my sub(s) (yes multiple, up to 3 at a time) with in-game cash but yeah I get your point. I have well over 1k into theHunter Classic since 2011.
Continued development requires continued revenue.
