But yes I agree that those four are up there in a list of five. being the richer, most beautiful and most atmospheric maps.
In defense of Rancho, there are cool parts to it, but yes it feels uneven, and the outposts aren't too smartly dispersed.
2 - New England Mountians - Its home turf to me, nothing like the NE during fall. Not much else to say no logic involved. I would have said Layton Lakes here until NEM came out.
3 - Cuatro Colinas - Love the animals and the views. I like the Iberian wolves over the Greys. I know they doesn't fit but if Hirschfelden had any wolves that would edge it out.
4 - Mississippi Acres - Alligators, not that the other animals aren't fun but just alligators are alligators.
5 - Vurhonga Savanna - Obligatory Africa choice.
A tier: Hirsch, Lake, New England
B tier: Taiga, Emerald Coast,
C: tier: Spain (cool map that can feel empty at times)
D: Yukon, SRP (i don't like too much different elevation which makes traversing annoying)
E: Savannah (too apparent showing off the limits of the engine, grassland with no grass? for real?)
It's just my subjective feeling / opinion. Please dont feel attacked by it ;)
I have and will try all other reserves in due time. I started revontuli a few days ago.
- Mississippi - Flat, dense undergrowth, hard to hunt small game
- Rancho - Nice and challenging topography model, small game
- Fernando - Reminds me of my travels down there...
- Yukon - Majestic, dynamic weather, grizzly
I tend to like all 14 but favorites goes around in circles.. every reserve have many nice spots, even if I wouldn't vote on it as a whole. Hirshfelden is outstanding as well as Layton.
