Beaver felling trees...help
Been a long time but I got this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ message again. I thought it was a bug from years ago that had been rectified. Can anyone provide information or help me make it stop? Huge piss off

It's not a bug and anytime there is a change made in terrain etc, you're going to get the beaver message if your tent/tree stand/tripod gets removed. Only way to make it stop is to put the tent/stand on flat & reasonably even ground so if there are terrain changes, the potential conflict is minimized.

According to the devs it's a graphical limitation and not a bug which, when the terrain is altered, can result in submerged tents, boulders or trees sprouting up inside them rendering them useless and unrecoverable. The trees falling and beavers eating them were introduced as a means for the tent to be returned to our inventory rather then remaining on the map in a useless capacity. Leadmagnet is correct, the only way to minimize this is to take care in where you erect your tent/blind/stand/tripod. Since none of these structures bother the animals one tiny little bit there's no need to "hide" them. Fast traveling to a tent generates enough noise to spook anything within 150 meters we've got plenty of room to find a relatively open spot (no trees within 20 or so meters), on relatively flat ground and away from the shore line or marshy areas of rivers or lakes. Just because the structure you are placing lights up as being okay to put it there, doesn't mean it will be eternally safe there.
