croc body floating in the middle of water and just spinning out there.

i killed a croc and its floating but its just out there spinning in circles and i cant get it what am i suppose to do

If it's really dead, the body will float into shore near to where you were when you shot it.
If you can spot it in your optics (bino or scope - that is, the 'Spot Animal' prompt is displayed), then it isn't dead yet. It seems as though its motion control is stuck (sort of like seeing a land animal get stuck in a group of boulders). If it isn't dead, shoot him again.

its supper dead it just wasnt coming to shore so after 20 minutes i gave up
