I hate hunting in games and real life

I play WoW and see people kill animals, even if they are ugly polygons that don't exist and feel sad. Same with most games.

Yet I play TheHunter Call of the Wild, and actually enjoy the realism of it, the scenery, nature sounds and all of it. Its actually a really good simulator, and it isn't like its for real.

That's no sin. Lots of people eat lamb or beef, but don't like killing sheep or cattle. I've had a vegetarian wife lecture me on the ills of hunting and eating meat...then spend a bucketload on leather shoes.

When I play COTW, I think of all the animals as blood thirsty chupacabras that need exterminated 500 years in the future. It really is great scenery. I used to hunt IRL, but not now.

Killing animals helps the environment by reducing the amount of fart gas being produced by them.

Nah, "I" hate hunting. But don't really care about hunting to eat. Don't even really too much care if its just for a dumb trophy. Hunting from helicopters is pretty lame though.

As for walking around with a camera to the post haddock made, there are "games" like that, that are just pure walking simulators and some look nice, usually include a mundane story. But thats boring as heck xD Need actual gameplay in my games :P

Hm, no I said "I" hate hunting, not that others hunt. There is a lot of reasons to hunt...eating...I guess trophies, but hopefully person still eats not just for the trophy. Leather to make clothes or whatever else leather can be for. I mean, that isn't a problem. I don't like hunting by helicopters though and just leaving a corpse behind, kinda dumb, but I guess other animals eat it.

No one read the post I guess even though they quoted it. I never said I didn't like others hunting, I just said "I" don't like it. I actually don't care about hunting in games these days unlike the past. But I just wouldn't hunt in real life, not my thing, don't trust myself with guns and I have onset arthritis or something as using a bow is extremely harder than it looks and gave me rather bad cramps. I still probably wouldn't hunt in real life though, maybe if it was the apocalypse and needed food.

Also to add, this wasn't even bait. I actually like the game and don't care others hunt, except still think helicopter hunting is dumb and lazy. Either way, even in the OP I said I as in "I" not anyone else xD

Also to add to the above. As for my opinion...my opinion is I want others to leave me the heck alone in real life, so I leave others alone in real life. If someone likes hunting and does it legally, don't actually care. Same with anything else. Again, I used the word "I" not "others" or "you" or anything xD Though I guess did use others as an example when others killed pixels in WoW, but I didn't mean it in general in real life and that is literally just pixels, was just saying how I felt back then. And again, even in real life, countless reasons for people to hunt. I just wouldn't do it unless it was the apocalypse and needed to survive and if I lived the initial apocalypse of whatever it was.

Got my first bison :D Wasn't too grand of a bison, but still pretty neat.

The hard part is after shooting something (especially if its medium/small), finding it in all the foliage xD

well, in GAMES I'm NOT preocupation, in world OF THE GAME not problem...and in this game the person of player is a hunter AND help reservs...not problem...but...I'm really loved if this game take more free for player hunt beasts in extinction problem....like the mission for see the last RINO in african reserv but.....this game not real world is ANOTHER...and NOT ARK game....all creatures is real creatures in world of us....like the game....like for hunt AND PHOTO.

I understood you, glad to hear you enjoy the game.

Looking over my title and stuff, I probably could have worded it better and the post went into more detail. More than a short 5 second written post, since kinda used to that from how anywhere you go (especially discord and reddit) people hate long posts/chats.

Your original post was fine. Not everyone is good at putting thoughts in text/writing. Theres always smart axxs and self appointed grammer police on all forums. I hunt in real life, not just to kill but because of the experience nature has to offer. When I do kill something I do feel for the animal and thank the lord for the blessing. I only hunt and kill what I will eat. This game fills the void when I cant get out.

I didn't take the OP's post as throwing grief on hunting or us players, just an opinion similar to what a lot of people have posted on the forums, about enjoying the game without the taste for 'hunting' anything.
