Well funny u bring that up. Most other player's lodges I've visited don't have the multiplatforms. I guess they're spending their money on other things. I have a half dozen or so in mine. I think they're amazing.
I think I have just one XXL multimount in Layton Lodge, but my way of hunting isn't the most effective. Honestly, it's not effective at all if it comes to a specific type of trophy, so collecting animals is going to take me a long time. But some time ago I thought it would be nice to eventually fill my lodges so I'm out there looking and shooting, not grinding though.
There is also a second building next to the main lodge - you can go in and open doors - bedrooms don't appear to be usable for resting, though.
When I look back at the main building, it appears to have been dropped on the site, atop a big rock outcrop, so part of the building is just hanging in midair - the outdoor fire pit is just suspended on nothing. I tried to walk underneath it, but got stuck and had to fast travel back to the outpost. There is foliage inside the basement rec room and other parts of the main floor.
This leads me to believe it was dropped on my map at a random location. The border fences and main gate that are visible when you travel to the lodge via Trophy Lodges don't seem to be around
On my map, it's about 650m north (well, not due north, just a couple of degrees west of north) of Mount Leviathan Outpost, at coordinates (11160.378, 9497.104). There is no icon on the map to mark its location. I wonder if it is located at the same spot for every player? I'll post some screen shots.
Seems curious why they can place something like this and be useable, but didn't bother to make the hunting cabins accessible, or the lookout towers.
I've always thought those should have at least been accessed to fast travel and rest.
Oh, I know - this is really something!
I wonder if you're the first person to come across it?
I can't wait to see it on the actual map. Lol
I'll check on Discord to see if anyone else posted something about this.
Have you seen the Rancho DelAroyo hacienda?
Not lately, but yes, I've been in that reserve
I can see it through the trees up there, another 200 yards to go.
