308 AR DOESNT SEEM ACCURATE ALL THE TIME

So ive been hunting Fallow for a bit with the 308 AR. sometimes it shoots very accurate and sometimes its wildly off. Im paying attention to the distances and changing my zero as needed. Is this just a bug, has anyone else had this problem?

Yup I've noticed this with many weapons.... be prepared for others to come in tell you its all your fault tho. At least that was my experience.

same here. noticed it mostly when shooting over 300m range to any rifle.
The weapon set to 300m, animal also ~300m far away, but the shot went elswhere 10meters above their head. its happening like every twohundred shots; not that often, but its there.

Yup I'm using the 308 z10 and have even gotten up to close to 30m from a buck, and it registers as a complete miss. Other weapons as well.

have you tested your aim at the firing range...do you know the range for that weapon before you need to compensate for drop in trajectory....

getting an average will require many test shots and practice makes perfect,

IMO and experience using it as favorite regulaly, this gun is damn near perfect,,,,but now that i read the post again im not sure if were talkin the same gun, lol

im referring to the Zarza Moonlight 308

have you tested your aim at the firing range...do you know the range for that weapon before you need to compensate for drop in trajectory....

getting an average will require many test shots and practice makes perfect,

I don't know about the OP but that is what I'm refering to, and while it is deadly accurate most times this game still makes me miss some damn near impossible to miss shot when clearly nothing was blocking or in the way, and very close up.

You know about hitboxes don't you????

And never shooting from a rock.

Also never shoot at close range with scope zoomed. I think it causes it to be off.

Yes, I am aware of all of these. Regardless it still misses. Clearly not the only one with this issue. lol.

Just had this issue with the 308 from the hunter power pack. I shot at a wolf standing 140 metres away..it was standing still, scope was zeroed to 150 metres. I lined up for a lung shot, I fired and the wolf ran away, when I went to the place I spotted it there was no blood though watching trough the scope it definitely should have been a hit.
