A bit of both. You probably got kind of lucky, but it's also normal that some people will get lucky and at least some rares and diamonds will be on your reserves pretty much anytime (this is a guess, but I'd say it would be rarer to have none). It also depends on how much you moved around. If all of these were in one part of the map, that would be more lucky, but piebalds and albinos, while rare, are pretty easy to spot if you move around a bit. Plus, it seems like you hunted across several reserves.
So the luck of your initial spawning of rares does not suggest that it will continue with further spawns.
