Do Magpie geese actually poop?

I have ran all over the swamps and killed a bunch, but can not find droppings anywhere for the mission. 5 droppings? Can not find the first one. . .

Yes they do. One way to get them is to drop a Magpie decoy to attract them and then when they are o,n the ground just run at them to "scare the poo out of them". Without shooting.

It worked for me, got the 5. But like all here you must be patient.
Some Geeze can hold it even when scared

Yes I am using the decoys, I will try to do as you say. Thanks! I was just running around hoping to find some on the ground. or find a need zone where I was sure to find some. Just could not locate it. I will scare the poop out of them then.

It works, let them land, run at them and you scare the poop out of them! For awhile I was like, do they fart, let alone Poop? But now the Piebald!

I shot it today and realized only at harvest that I had got the piebald I was looking for the side mission. So I have no picture of it but this might help:

Before you harvest your goose kill, look around first. Sometimes they will poop when they land but if you harvest it the poop and tracks will go away,

Yeah they do..however, I had difficult time with this one too.
I had sat up a blind and decoys in an area they were supposed to frequent..no poop...even after i had called in a bunch of different numerous flocks...
Had to go to the blind..call but not shoot them ..let them land and walk arounnd for a bit until they spooked,,,a few 5 -10 minutes or so....after they spooked i shot a couple ...went to harvest them and noticed there was poop!!!!! perameter passed...
