But yeah, agree that the .223 is underpowered. DD33 did a video on that and was recently saying, he's in talks with the Devs about it. I hope we can expect a buff in a bit.
i shoot .223 Polymer-Tip Bullet and i use ZARZA-15
I feel it's a bit more powerful than the Zarza. Maybe in consideration of the longer barrel = more muzzle velocity, I don't know. Maybe it's just placebo 😅
They're supposed to be deadly accurate up to 150 yards, and still have the hitting power to be fatal. But recently they just aren't doing the job.
In the end a 50gr .22 can only do so much.
But in the game it often feels you're shooting pellets at those critters.
I tested the .223 Docent and I don't see any major improvement with the .223 bullet. I still think that this projectile is too weak :) and it could use an update
.270 is a different type of ammo
Weapons are just very unrealistic in this game and I doubt this will change since the devs don´t care about it at all.
I feel bad for the coyotes that I mangled by having the bullet stuck in their shoulder but not reachign vitals.
