I've not looked into that new hunting game, so can't comment on that.
The sound has really been effected badly. The panning is far too brutal on each side. Like it is missing the stereo balance and just goes left or right.
Can't say i think the devs are going in the wrong directions. I like elements of the latest maps and updates, and they're are things that i don't like.
Does feeling like the dev team are trying to do something but are either stuck with the COTW game engine and hardcoding or not sure what to do, or how to do it.
Can't say Classic is harder, but it is Classic
Can I ask, does this change mean bow hunting in general just became much more viable in terms of "productivity"? In other words, are rifles still king when it comes to kill counts over time, or is it more balanced now?
Edit: If it would require FTP, COTW is on sale almost daily now and the current price is $3.99 for the base game. O.o It will probably be free here shortly. I'll have to check Epic for a price. I only had to pay once for my copy of the Time Traveler, COTW reads like the NY Times.
You don't speak for me. I, personally DON'T want a game where I can just sit back and, "kill animals", as you said. This is a HUNTING game. Not FortNite. It sounds to me like you're upset that firing your weapon spooks the animals in the vicinity because you want to be able to just run around and blast a bunch of animals while they just stand there and let you do it.
I know this game isn't a totally realistic hunting simulation, but it is still supposed to be a somewhat realistic hunting game. And you're complaining that the. "realistic" hunting game is, "realistic". Go play "Duck Hunt" on Nintendo. That sounds more like what you're looking for.
So rather than being able to cash in on the Classic grind style (and the classic income), they'd slice the demographics CotW appeals to. It's a stupid business move plain and simple.
It, literally, takes only seconds to swap out gear.
