Can't hit rabbits with a bow.
I can be 10 ft away from a rabbit with the crossbow dead center on it and it somehow misses? I've had this happen like 3 times today and i end up just having to pull out a pistol to kill them. I'm honestly so confused with how it could miss from so close. It's not enough for a "bullet" drop and not enough for wind to sway it.

You're probably not missing it. It is possible the arrow is hitting the collision area around an object you are using for cover. Rocks, trees, large branches, even a bump in the snow can absorb an arrow.

Make sure you have clear shot.

Aim lower...

small targets at close range, if you miss its going to be high with the bow

had this problem myself on the fox with a bow mission, go to the range and practice at -10m

Use the top line on the crossbow scope. The center line is sighted in at a farther distance.

Good advice. Adjusting for distance is VERY important when using any type of bow and it's very true about the barriers around rocks, trees, branches, even the ground, structures and wooden walkways can absorb the arrow or bullet.

Small targets are always going to be harder to hit.....more fun.....good training.
