But you're right, there isnt really a typical rain forest jungle type map.
Perhaps somewhere between NZ and a djungle-theme? That would take us to somewhere in the middle of Australia's outback? Mixed forest with steppe elements?
If I were to place a vote, I'd call for a very flat tundra region, cut out by smaller river canyon systems and sandy deltas. Typical landmarks being quarries, logging stations and one or two rail tracks crossing thru. Big areas of glacial erratics and dead ice topography, the area in general having one or two big eskers running thru the area. Getting carried away... :)
