Does scent eliminator works well?
I always bring bunch of them but I think they dont work very well...

It works, but how well depends, in part, upon the difficulty level of the animal. Those Hard and Very Hard creatures are more sensitive to noise, smell and visibility. The spray has an area effect and a downwind effect BUT once you change locations it seems to not work at all. It's best use is when I am on a stand or in a blind. Some species are more sensitive to odors than others. For example a Warthog is going to start warning vocals when it hits my scent fan no matter what. When I use the spray, they still may vocal a warning but tend to simply move out of the fan instead of heading for Kansas faster than Dorothy can click her heels. Forget what the codex says about it lasting 2 hours. It's more like 2 min. That's long enough to get a shot off while the animal is standing still instead of mincing around.

Yes, it works, but it does not hide your scent completely.

Because it doesn't eliminate scent altogether... it simply masks it.
And animals can become suspicious of what smell it does offer.
It may not smell normal to their environment and so they bolt.

I have never used the stuff... and likely won't.
I'm just mindful at predicting the wind direction.

I use it a lot, but it has limits.

I've never noticed any difference, animals will spook around the same distance, with or without scent eliminator.

You might be too loud/too visible for scent to have an effect

If you look at your stats, scent is the least likely reason why you scare animals and by a huge order of magnitude. That said, I do use it and you'd be daft not to - it might just be the difference between getting a diamond or not, and you have to remember the diamond animals are way more suspicious and way more aware of noise and scent than the average prey.

Put it this way, some people claim it makes no difference but that observation is purely anecdotal. But the game is telling you 'here use this, it helps' and scent is a factor.

With all that running in hot climates, deodorant is a must 😁
i did not even bought the s e one time. i simply do not need it. i can sneak up close at any animal i want, if the wind is good. i use the crossbow a lot, and i shoot at very close range. .

Whether it works or not, how efefctive, and whether its worth it is all moot....because it says that its supposed to last for two game hours, and there is aboslutely no way that it lasts that long..

i never leave base without it, use it constantly just in case it make the diff between seeing that diamond or not, ill use every opportunity i have, but it is frustrating never knowing when it has worn off. i musta spent a fortune reapplying and wasting it, there should be a countdown, and if its supposed to last 2 hours, make sure it does devs,,,

I have never purchased or used scent eliminator. Of the 341,726 animals I have scared away only 1600 have been through scent. Do the math and it hardly seems worth the money or time.I do run around alot but there could also have been alot of Diamonds in that 1600. Quess I will never know.
