clock?
So...am I missing something? I would like to see what time of the day it is, without having to hit escape (playing on PC) Can I see what time of the day it is in real time? while I'm walking around? Would be nice.

Use the hunter-mate. It has a clock on the upper part of the display.

Yes I would like to see the real world clock too, which is why I am now using the windowed
mode with border, which is quite ugly.

Why not use a real clock? It was invented centuries ago :)

Probably because theHunter does not run well on most clocks :P

What does a hunter do in real life when he wants to know the time?

Yeah at first I was like why don't just look at my phone, then the phone button activation was too much so I was like lets just play in windowed mode

The OP probably wants the in game clock to be visible at all times.

Yes that would be using the huntermate like previously answered lol

You're missing my point, I just want to see what time it is, while I'm walking around, hunting. At a glance. I'm aware of the hunter-mate. I just thought it would be nice to know what time of the day it was, without having to go look for it.

That's true but this solution requires pressing tab to bring up the huntermate. This is even slower than pressing escape. I don't think the OP is asking for something like this.

Ok, so no I do not think you can have the overlay that you're asking for. At least nothing that I am aware of.

Steam overlay. Or an IRL clock.
DUH :steamfacepalm:

They can put a flashing hexagon in the bottom left corner to annoy you. But cant add a small clock on on the bottom right side or top right side to make checking your GAME TIME easier. You all know exactly what he meant stop being such trolls.

oh my :lunar2019shockedpig: sometimes.... :steamfacepalm:

this is a hunting game, not a clock watcher sim - if you need to know the time irl, youll have to put some effords in to that aswell, like raising your arm or touch your "smart" phone screen.

exept you have your flat/room plastered with clocks on every wall and in any direction you may look, eventualy.

how can this be more unrealistic? this game is supposed to simulate a hunter feeling (no, its not a simulation), and then you want all kinds of displays right onscreen?

install a da.. overlay programm or place a clock in visible reach of your pc screen - but watch out, you may have to force your eyes to focus on the clock :lunar2019crylaughingpig:

Put /borderless on your launch options. That should make it borderless-windowed mode.
