Dumb Question about The Big Coyote Tour

I've just started actually doing the missions after hunting for 37 hours (having a blast) and have a really stupid question.

In Vualez : The big coyote tour, am I supposed to purchase the .270 Huntsman rifle or am I to expect one to be provided for me ? The way it's worded is a little off throwing.

I mean, heck, I'll buy it no problem, but if I don't need to waste the money....then....I won't.

also don't worry about wasting money, plenty of animals to kill, and even if ya do run out of cash the .243 rifle and soft point ammo for it is free so ya can get back to hunting and making money again

the stats of how its killed doesn't matter, just one in each of the 5 sub regions is all that is required

I've completed the mission. I'm just stating that .270 doesn't seem like a weapon of choice or something. English isn't my first language, I'm not sure if I present my point.

It is because mission is simulating population control rather than sport hunting. When predators are hunted with the goal to reduce their number, it is important to ensure terminal damage even with less precise aim.

.270 is otherwise very good weapon. You will later have a mission to hunt black bear with it, and European reserve also has missions specific to .270 so don't worry about purchasing it.
